After cleaning, installing a seam and fastener sealant, a base coat of
elastomeric coating is being installed. This will be followed up with a
second coat of elastomeric sealants.

VICTORIAN METAL ROOFING
Crew installs new metal roofing systems that match the original lighthouse
roofing pattern. Each panel is designed to withstand the excessive
wind-loads of Lake Michigan.
Problem:
Duplicating original roofing system with modern
materials.
Constraints:
Summertime tourist traffic must not be
impeded. This building is used specifically for retail tourist business.
Solution:
Install new roofing system with modern
ice and water shield backups by means of Kaynar painting and galvanized
hardware.
