RESTORATION

Problem:  Continuous leakage into basement causing damage to stored materials and furniture.

Constraints:  Unreinforced wall moves with annual thermal changes.  Water actively leaking through crack.  Finished landscaping on exterior.

Solution:  Completely fill crack with a flexible waterproofing grout.  Install a secondary backup waterproofing to ensure water-tightness.

Problem:  Installation of a new parking facility next to a 100 year old masonry building causes waterproofing concerns.

Constraints:  Short time frame of construction.  Heavy deterioration of existing masonry structure.

Solution:  Excavate existing foundation to footing depth.  Repoint all areas of deteriorated masonry and stone work.  Install two hand troweled layers of fibrated waterproofing compound.  Cover waterproofing compound with protection board prior to back filling.
